In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below.
You must meet the minimum basic educational and/or work experience
requirements for professional accounting positions in the federal government.
1. Bachelor's degree in information technology,
computer science, management information systems, cybersecurity, data
analytics, data science, accounting or a degree in a related field such as
business administration, finance, or public administration that included or was
supplemented by 24 credit semester hours or equivalent in accounting. (May
include up to six (6) credit hours or equivalent in business law). 2. At least
four years of experience in IT auditing, or an equivalent combination of IT
auditing, college-level education, and training that included 24 credit
semester hours or equivalent in accounting or auditing courses. (May include up
to six (6) credit hours or equivalent in business law).

and
2. You must have specialized experience for this position, which is in or
directly related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has
equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to
successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience is
defined as experience performing accounting, auditing, financial or compliance
work by planning, conducting audit assignments and reporting results.

Highly Desired Skills
Experience conducting or overseeing financial statements,
information technology, or performance audits.
Information Technology (IT) Auditing experience is a plus.
Possess a relevant professional certification to include Certified Information
Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional
(CISSP), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA),
Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), or Certified Government Financial Manager
(CGFM).
