Duties

  • Support AAA lead data engineer and data manager, and expert technical authority for data analytics.
  • Provide IT technical support, direction, subject matter, and state-of-the-art expertise on automated data gathering and analysis requirements of audit teams
  • Apply knowledge of databases, system design, network operations, programming languages, and data visualization to provide the most effective and efficient product(s) needed by audit teams
  • Develop data pipelines that process, store, and retrieve large amounts of data while minimizing resource consumption.
  • Serve as expert advisor/consultant to audit teams in reviewing system design, development, and implementation of automated Army and Defense systems used to support audited Army functions
  • Design analytics and collaborates with audit teams to develop analytical approach for Agency data mining and machine learning efforts. anomalies.
  • Build analytical models using Army Vantage and other tools, to support audit teams performing audits and continuous auditing of transactions for

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET (NCS) security clearance.
  • Temporary Duty Travel or Business Travel may be required up to 10%.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Experience must be IT related; the experience may be demonstrated by paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training (for example, IT certification), as appropriate.

For all positions individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. The employing agency is responsible for identifying the specific level of proficiency required for each competency at each grade level based on the requirements of the position being filled.

Specialized experience: Creating resource dashboards to support the systematic process. Conducting diagnostic tests to evaluate performance metrics, briefs senior leadership on IT related work, and develop analytical models to support audit teams.
