This IT Specialist position is located in Fort Belvoir, Virginia. This is a DoD Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project (AcqDemo) position in the NH-03 broadband with an advertised pay range from the lowest equivalent GS 12 grade Step 1 to the highest equivalent GS 13 grade step 10 in the broadband.
Telework Eligibility Statement: This position may be eligible for regular and recurring
TELEWORK, including emergency and OPM prescribed unscheduled Telework. Supervisor approval will be required on a case-by-case basis.

To qualify based on your experience, you must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies:
1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.

Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.

AND
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: In order to qualify for this position based on experience your resume must include at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-02 (GS-11) grade level in the Federal service which includes:
1) Expert knowledge of both computers and telecommunications systems to assess security posture of classified and unclassified Information Systems;
AND
2) Technical knowledge and skill in Automated Information Systems (AIS) and information systems security to ensure the organization follows policies and directives;
AND
3) Expert knowledge of a wide ranch of information system security concepts, principles, and practices to plan, direct, and evaluate Army security programs for Automated Information Systems;
AND
4) Ability to administer the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) for managing users and systems through the Risk Management Framework.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-02 or GS-11).
