About the Position: Serves as a senior information technology specialist for communications/messaging systems supported by the directorate, performing a variety of complex software engineering, integration, implementation, and support tasks to meet customer requirements, costs, and schedules.

To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level
(NH-02). I have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below based on the grade level required of the position being filled:

Specialized and Other Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes:
1) Experience in gathering Project information for network and circuit engineering requirements.
2) Develop network designs and circuit path design drawings, installing telecommunications, network and/or encryption equipment.
3) Working inside of a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) environment, work with classified networks to include SIPRNet, JWICs, Trojan and/or various SAP networks.
4) Demonstrate various Classification References associated with Classified Networks (i.e. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), NSA/CSS Policy Manual 1-52, "NSA/CSS Classification" and DoD Standards associated Department of Defense MANUAL NUMBER 5200.01)
