GS-12: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing IT Specialist work to support the overall IT health of an organization. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1.) Assisting with the planning and coordination of the installation and operation of IT services and/or equipment within an office or organization; 2.) Assist senior specialists who participate on IT functionality teams with development, implementation and/or execution of specialized IT tasks or projects; and 3.) Assist senior specialists with advising leadership of IT concerns and providing potential solutions.

Providing guidance on the information management lifecycle, including classification, cataloging, storing, maintaining records and information assets, privacy protection, and archiving.
In addition to the specialized experience listed above, you must have IT related experience which demonstrates proficiency in each of the following competencies:

- Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
