I have one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined:
1.
Attention to Detail - Investigates feasibility of design alternatives and develops/modifies functional analysis documents.
2.
Customer Service- Provides customer support for IT systems developed and/or maintained by NAVSUP BSC, explaining how the system operates and/or researching unexpected results.
3.
Oral Communication -Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately.
4.
Problem Solving - Resolves functional and technical problems; and design, test, implement, modify, and/ or perform maintenance concerning functional aspects of entire projects.
In addition to demonstrating the four competencies above, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level
(GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties:
(1) Maintaining requirements and techniques to install, configure and troubleshoot Automatic Identification Technology/Radio Frequency Identification (AIT/RFID) equipment;
(2) Implementing technical solutions for products and services based on functional specifications and customer requirements to interface with Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), NMCI, OneNet and other networks in support of Navy Warehouse Management;
(3) Editing and updating desk guides, user manuals and other materials as to conduct inventory management/accuracy and training on AIT/RFID equipment and hardware/software;
(4) Interpreting, analyzing and evaluating existing Information Technology (IT) policies and guidelines to make technical decisions on IT capabilities to improve Navy Logistics processes;
(5) Analyzing requirements, investigating feasibility of design alternatives and developing / modifying functional analysis documents to improve warehouse inventory control processes.
(6) Ensuring the application of IT security measures are in accordance with prescribed systems security methods and procedures.
