Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes development of an automated information system/network security program, assisting in coordinating certification and accreditation activities, reviewing threat and vulnerability assessments to analyze risks to information systems/networks and determine appropriate measures to manage those risks. In ADDITION to the specialized experience, I have related experience in Information Technology on each of the following competencies:
1) Attention to Detail - Attends to detail when planning, prioritizing, and assisting with the daily workflow across the spectrum of Information Technology functions and resources.
2) Customer Service - Diagnose and resolve problems in response to customer reported problems.
3) Oral Communication - Advise on information systems management and provide staff with technical advice on operations and maintenance of the automated system.
4) Problem Solving - Ability to respond to complex issues and assisting staff on day-to-day Information Technology support and issues.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
