IT Support Specialist
Location: Fort Liberty, North Carolina
Join our team as an IT Support Specialist where you will play a critical role in providing exceptional technical assistance and resolving technical issues for our customers. This position offers the flexibility of situational telework and ensures a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide informal training and guidance to customers, helping them understand automated information systems.
- Assist customers with technical problems and identify automation needs.
- Analyze and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Address and resolve user tickets received via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
Position Requirements:
- Must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
- May require travel up to 10% of the time and is subject to random drug testing.
- Required to certify at Level II in Information Assurance Technical (IAT-II) within 6 months.
- Position may involve evening, weekend, or holiday work.
- Residency within 50 miles of the workplace is necessary for emergencies.
Qualifications:
Experience: Candidates should have:
- One year of specialized experience in providing IT support, resolving technical issues, and maintaining network operations.
- Strong competencies in Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication, and Problem Solving.
Education:
- Ph.D. in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent education with three years of higher-level graduate study.
