Physical Demands: The work requires sitting, walking, bending, crouching, reaching, or other similar physical activities normally found in a routine office environment. Physical exertion is required on field work involving investigations, inspections, and operational evaluations. Work requires routine outdoor physical exertion such as walking, hiking, sitting, bending, stooping, crouching, jumping, climbing, lifting light to medium weight objects, stretching, or reaching. Exertion could be in buildings, woodlands, mountains (high elevation and steep terrain), deep canyons, caves, deserts (extreme heat and hazardous plants), extreme cold, deep snow, remote areas, around equipment, construction projects, rough terrain, over water, etc.
The work requires riding in a variety of air and water craft, riding on pack animals, and regular exposure to the same hazardous environments as the supported park's employees. Ability to use personal protective equipment, including full-face and other air-purifying respirators, is required.
Working Conditions: The work requires both indoor and outdoor activities and can range from well-lighted and temperature-controlled offices to wilderness surroundings under ambient light and uncontrolled temperature extremes. Onsite visits may require exposure to operating machines and equipment, hazardous materials, high noise levels, hazardous fumes and dust, and other hazardous conditions. Deployments may occur in areas affected by natural disasters including hurricanes, volcanos, earthquakes, floods, wildland fire, and other conditions.
The National Park Service has determined that the duties of this position are suitable for telework only during an emergency or natural disaster.

must submit ALL SF-50s and performance information for each period of temporary/term employment that qualifies for LMWFA. Performance documentation can be obtained by contacting the supervisors for the positions you served in during your 24 months. If they did not complete performance appraisals ask them to provide a statement of performance for
each period of service. The statement must specify the dates for each employment period and your level of performance consistent with your SF_50s.
