Specialized Experience: To qualify for GS-14: have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-13 level in Federal Service or equivalent responsibility in the private sector/pay systems that equipped me with the particular competencies to successfully perform as a Information Technology Specialist (Application Software): Such experience includes: 1). Directing, advising, and collaborating on the development, systems design, quality assurance, and implementation of financial system baseline software, departmental interfaces, and/or data warehouse activities; 2) Assisting with the development and documentation of a work breakdown structure and resource loaded project schedule using common project information systems technology and software, including monitoring and reporting progress and performance of projects with regard to scope, schedule, cost, resources, quality, and risk; 3) Developing Systems Applications and Products (SAP) modules and complex functions using the Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) programming language, including troubleshooting and correcting SAP module problems; 4) Reviewing and modifying an SAP financial system to respond to revised needs, to analyze and correct deficiencies in the present system, or to provide for the use of new equipment or techniques.
