To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience: providing customer support and technical assistance in a variety of IT equipment to include hardware, software and telecommunications systems.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).
IN ADDITION to possessing one year of specialized experience, applicants must demonstrate the following competencies: (1) Attention to Detail- Attentive and thorough in completing Information Technology tasks and projects; (2) Customer Service- Work with Information Technology clients and customers to assess their needs, meet quality standards for services, and evaluate customer satisfaction; (3) Oral Communication- Communicate Information Technology information and ideas in speaking so others will understand; and (4) Problem Solving- Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
