A qualified candidate must possess the following:
Specialized IT experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training or IT certification which demonstrates skill in applying:
- Principles and methods for integrating information systems components.
- Performance tuning tools and techniques.
- System diagnostic tool and fault identification techniques.
- Systems administration methods.
- Participating in the planning and delivery of a full range of IT customer support services.
- Installing, configuring, upgrading and trouble shooting hardware and software components.
- Presenting formal and informal training and assistance to customers.
- Reporting, responding to, and resolving customer requests; and IT security principles.

Completion of a master's degree or two (2) full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree in completer science, engineering, information systems management or technology management, or degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours as indicated above and required the development or adaption of application, systems, or networks.
In addition to the above qualifications, candidates must demonstrate IT-related experience which addresses the following four competencies:
1. Attention to detail - Such as implementing quality control procedures and conducting compliance reviews.
2. Customer service - Such as providing assistance to both internal and external customers; assessing customers' needs, meeting quality standards, and evaluating customer satisfaction.
3. Verbal communication - Such as conducting formal presentations or training to audiences at varying levels of hierarchy and technical expertise.
4. Demonstrated problem-solving skills - Such as identifying the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.

Resume must demonstrate and reflect:
- Experience and knowledge of creating and managing Army Portfolio Management System (APMS) records or similar.
- Experience and knowledge of creating and managing Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) records or similar.
- Experience and knowledge of submitting and tracking Information Technology Acquisition Systems (ITAS) requests or similar.
- Possess CompTIA Security+ Certification
