In addition to meeting the basic education requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below:
Specialized Experience GS-12: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal Service performing the following duties: 1) Modifying geometric designs or specifications for layouts for projects such as levees, navigation locks, floodgates, roads, and highways OR 2) Reviewing construction contract specifications and plans for engineering feasibility and practicality.
Specialized Experience GS-13: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal Service performing the following duties: 1) Drafting geometric designs or specifications for layouts for projects such as levees, navigation locks, floodgates, roads and highways, flood control channels, parking areas etc.; 2) Validating technical discipline input is included in the drafting of project scopes, schedule, budget, plans, specifications, engineering reports, feasibility studies to ensure regulatory compliance; OR 3) Reviewing construction contract specifications and plans for engineering feasibility and practicality and processes modifications to a contract as required.
