Internship - Program Management Trainee

About the Role

Join our Program Management Organization (PMO) as an intern and contribute to the transformation and modernization of the National Airspace System (NAS). Working alongside professionals from diverse fields such as engineering, computer science, and management, you'll assist in developing software to enhance operations. This internship offers a blend of hands-on experience and professional development.

Position Responsibilities

  • Assist in research and development for software that supports NAS operations.
  • Engage in both routine and complex tasks under the guidance of skilled mentors, including project managers and team leaders.
  • Be involved in mission-critical projects and gain exposure to leadership within the PMO.
  • Participate in team operations while developing communication skills through technical reporting.

What We're Looking For

  • Current full-time or part-time enrollment in an accredited educational institution.
  • Completion of at least one full academic year of post-secondary education.
  • US Citizenship.
  • Knowledge of basic administrative and program management principles is a plus.
  • A commitment to participate in the full duration of the internship program and adhere to agreed terms.

Education Requirements

This opportunity requires a course of study leading to a degree or equivalent. Applicants must provide transcripts to verify their educational achievements.
