Position may be filled as a time-limited promotion, reassignment or change to lower grade not to exceed One Year by a current permanent Army employee. Time-limited promotions may be extended up to a maximum of five years. Time-limited reassignments and changes to lower grade may exceed five years, however return rights may be impacted. Position may be made permanent without further competition.
Term Appointment NTE - Position may be filled as a Term Appointment NTE 13 months. Term appointments may be extended beyond of six (6) years, up to eight (8) years. With DoD approval, Term appointments may be extended beyond eight (8) years.
Current permanent Federal employees (to include permanent Army employees) applying for a Term appointment will be appointed/converted into a Term appointment with no statutory return rights back to a permanent position.

Specialized experience: To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level
(NH-02).
1) Leading the control and coordination of taskers that cross multiple command organizations and partner organizations;
2) Managing priorities and collaboration through expert knowledge of automated information systems used for staff actions;
3) Managing information to include recommendations to senior leaders on knowledge management and policies and procedures; and
4) Developing internal policy and program guidance governing the implementation and management of Knowledge Management initiatives in the organization to institutionalize Knowledge Management (KM), and educates leadership and employees.
