Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the federal
service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties:
1) Applying knowledge of dispatch operations and databases to support response to law enforcement, fire, medical,
hazmat, and chemical, biological, nuclear, and explosive emergencies;
2) Interpreting emergency regulations, policies, directives, and techniques to provide personnel with necessary
dispatching skills and training;
3) Obtaining accurate and detailed information during stressful situations to determine required emergency resources
necessary; and
4) Recording pertinent dispatch-related data, events, and logs using necessary computer and office equipment.
