Duties
INTRODUCTION:
Performs as the Program Manager for MCHS Lodging Program which consists of Inns of the Corps (IOTC), Marine Lodging (ML) located at MCGACC Twentynine Palms and MCWTC Bridgeport.
MAJOR DUTIES:
Responsible for the personnel/administrative management and the efficient operation of the IOTC / ML. Facilities, including but not limited to the front office, housekeeping, laundry services, breakfast operation, retail sundries, and maintenance functions. Conducts surveys, inspections and studies to ensure that services/facilities meet the needs, cleanliness and desire of patrons. Complies with brand standards and regulations in the daily operation of the facility. Implements new policies or innovative promotions that increase occupancy rate, delivers quality guest services and maintains the required level of profitability. Using regulations and standards develops and implements strategies/procedures to increase revenue.
Plans, organizes and manages internal human and physical resources to ensure maximum productivity, efficiencies and economic health. Responsible to meet financial goals including controllable costs, increase revenue and increase earnings. Prepares financial plans, budgets, inventories, cost controls, and related records and reports. Reviews the financial status of the assigned activity and recommends changes considered necessary. Either directly or indirectly through subordinate supervisors, manages activity employees. Trains, schedules work, appraises performance, counsels assigned personnel, and recommends personnel actions. Effectively supports the Marine Corps Equal Employment Opportunity policy, and ensures compliance with fire, safety, security, sanitation and other environmental issues. Manages property resources and provides advice on renovations and improvements. Maintains and enforces security for funds, merchandise, supplies and equipment to preclude or minimize the potential for fraud, waste and abuse.
Serves as responsible officer for the maintenance, repair and accountability of all MCHS assets assigned to the IOTC / ML facilities and may establish sub-accounts. Ensures IOTC / ML assets to include cash, equipment, furniture, and other property stored in secure locations designated by Leadership.

Performs other related duties as assigned.
