Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Coordinate integrated logistical support (ILS) plans to support shipboard equipment and systems undergoing modernization, conversion, or repair;
2) Identify and correct logistics and engineering problems and deficiencies;
3) Analyze metrics and trends of alteration/ship change installation efforts to recommend process improvements;
4) Utilize logistics systems, data management and processing programs to assist in developing logistics support strategies, reporting, and plans; and
5) Review contract requirements and administration regulations, policies, and procedures to recommend revisions or alterations regarding the contracting of material and services.

Must be physically able to operate in a shipboard environment to include climbing ladders and accessing hatches/scuttles. Other aspects of the assignment require intermittent periods of standing, walking, stooping, and bending. There is a limited requirement for lifting light weight and some forklift operation.
Incumbent may be subject to occasional travel of up to 25%. This may require walking, bending and climbing during visits to various Navy and commercial installations. During the course of this travel, industrial facilities may be visited or toured.
