Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12/13) grade level or pay band (DS-05) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Serving as a subject matter expert or a project/program manager in a field such as Facilities and Equipment Operations, Logistics, Quality Assurance, Information Technology, or in other similar areas; 2) Overseeing program development or oversight of NAVAIR, DoN, or equivalent level programs, and independently resolving problems or issues impacting programs that extend across the organization; 3) Advising management and colleagues on difficult problems, conducting special studies, proposing options and alternatives, and representing the command; 4) Meeting with experts who have a variety of viewpoints on issues of importance, presenting the organization's position on specific problems, and participating in the problem solving process by negotiation, compromise, or developing suitable alternatives; 5) Leading an entire project/program throughout an organization by managing project/program requirements, objectives, metrics, and resolving conflicts among schedules, funding, and resources.
