KEY REQUIREMENTS:
Open to US Army, Army Reserves, and Army Nat'l Guard military members only
Must submit an IPPS-A STP and resume with application.
Warrant Officer not assigned to WYARNG must submit NGB Fm 62E.

EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS:
Technicians are paid through Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer (DD/EFT).
Military Technicians are ineligible for military enlistment, retention, and student loan repayment bonuses. Acceptance of a Technician position over 180 days will result in suspension or termination of these military incentives. It is the applicant's responsibility to contact the Wyoming Army National Guard Education Services Officer, (307) 292-5030 for more information regarding military enlistment, retention, and student loan repayment incentives.
Military Technicians in the excepted service will wear the appropriate uniform while performing as a technician.
Veteran's preference does not apply to National Guard Technician positions in accordance with Title 32 USC 709(f).
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
1. Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance of the position.
2. This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position.
3. Irregular and/or overtime (compensatory) hours may be required to support operational requirements or contingencies or may be required to work hours outside of the normal duty day.
4. The duties and responsibilities may significantly impact the environment. Responsible to maintain awareness of environmental responsibilities as dictated by legal and regulatory requirements, organization, and its changing mission.

AREAS OF CONSIDERATION:
Primary consideration will be made from Areas 1, 2 and 4. If referrals are not made from the target category, subsequent referrals may next be made from Area 6 (if eligible).
Area 1: All permanent and indefinite Wyoming National Guard (NG) WY ARNG employees assigned to the AASF.
Area 2: All permanent and indefinite Wyoming National Guard (NG) T32 Dual Status technicians employed within the Wyoming National Guard.
Area 4: All current Drill Status Airmen and M-day soldiers of the Wyoming National Guard.
If referrals are not made from the above target categories, subsequent referrals may next be made from below.
Area 6: Current military members of the US Army, Army Reserves or other states' Army National Guard units. Must be willing/eligible to join the Wyoming Army National Guard as a military member prior to appointment to position.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Work involves performing or supervising staff work in planning and coordinating logistical support activities to provide the money, manpower, material, facilities, and services needed to support a specified mission at the time and place they are needed.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess experience, education, or training involving judgment and/or analytical ability in the logistics field. Experience using computer and automation systems.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
Must possess at least 1-year specialized experience, education or training equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Must have experience, education, or training which involved detailed knowledge of organizations and their functions in logistical support (i.e., supply, maintenance, quality assurance, facilities). Experience planning and organizing work assignments.
NOTE: Minimum Requirements and Specialized Experience will be used to determine qualifications for the announced position. Applicants must show start and end in MM/YYYY to MM/YYYY format (e.g., 02/2015 - 03/2017 or Feb 2017 - Mar 2017) dates and hours worked per week with description of your specialized experience on the resume.
MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Selected candidates will be required to be in a compatible military grade and assignment prior to the effective date of placement.
MOS: 92A (Quartermaster General), 92Y (Unit Supply Specialist), 15-series Aviation, 151 (Aviation Maintenance Technician), or 153 (Rotary Wing Aviator)
Per 10 USC 10216(b)(1)(C): Those organizations with the primary mission of providing direct support surface and aviation maintenance for the reserve components of the Army and Air Force, to the extent that the military technicians (dual status) in such units would mobilize and deploy in a skill that is compatible with their civilian position skill. (e.g., aircraft mechanics must be compatible)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Preference will be given to candidates who possess experience and familiarity using the Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-Army)-specifically the Supply Support Activity (SSA) and Maintenance modules-to manage and process technical supply, such as aviation repair parts.
DRIVER'S LICENSE:
You must possess a valid driver's license.
