For Wage Grade: Applicants must be physically fit and, as required in Office of Personnel Management Federal Wage System Qualifications, must possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities of the elements listed in Section 25 of the Online Occupational Questionnaire to perform the duties of the position at the level for which they are applying. Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Must be able to perform the common laboring tasks without more than normal supervision: Operate motor vehicles such as sedans and pickup trucks (up to 10,000 GVW) for picking up supplies and transporting equipment, personnel and materials. Operate power equipment, such as lawn mowers and a variety of types of common hand tools and light power tools (such as shovels, racks, lawn edging equipment, circular saws, electric drills, etc.). Load and unload supplies and materials from trucks, trailers, dollies, etc. Perform janitorial duties, such as cleaning sinks, toilets, sweeping floors, and emptying trash. I can lift and carry objects weighing over 50 pounds.
