Duties
- Operate large, complex riding lawn mower and/or specially designed riding mowers to mow in areas requiring attention to space and environment.
- Perform tasks that require significant manual skill, very heavy physical effort, several steps, phases, and detailed procedures (e.g. preparing ground for sod, flowers, and shrubs), following drawings and specifications.
- Responsible for selecting appropriate equipment to accomplish work, following safety practices, obtaining assistance, and performing routine maintenance and adjustments on equipment.
- Works under supervision of leader who provides instructions, standard procedures, and policies, and complete assignments in a timely manner.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- A pre-employment occupational physical is required for this position.
- This position requires to frequently lift and carry moderate to heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
- Satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2.
- Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.
- Must be willing and able to work a variable shift to include Days, Evenings, Weekends, and Holidays as needed.
- Appointment subject to favorable suitability determination.

- Demonstrated work experience that includes the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform the duties of this position.
- Ability to interpret instructions, specifications, etc.
- Ability to use and maintain tools and equipment.
