Duties
- Assists patrons in use of the facility by checking out equipment, providing safety instructions, demonstrating new equipment, teaching classes, etc.
- Plans, conducts, publicize and arrange support for special events, social activities, tournaments and related functions.
- Leads the work of other employees; passes on to other workers instructions received from the supervisor and starts work; provides on-the job training to new employees.

- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2.
- Incumbent may also required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.
- Ability to work an irregular schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and split-shifts.
- Work requires lifting and carrying items weighing up to 25 pounds.
