Duties

  • Serves as Lead Vending Machine Collectors/Distributor, leading three or more workers while performing the daily operations to include maintaining the accountability of funds.
  • As team leader, provides work direction and duty assignments to coin collector/distributors; reviews and evaluates their work in progress or upon completion; and provides or ensures completion of required on-the-job training.
  • Collects vending machine coins on a weekly basis. Coordinates and conducts move of VM and or new placement of machines with the appropriate District Manager.
  • Maintains control logs and appropriate documentation records.
  • Performs basic repairs and refurbishes vending machines.

  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one-year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
  • Work hours will entail day and night shifts to include weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to work in inclement weather.
  • Driving over a long distance and period of time Must be able to obtain, within 30 days of employment, and maintain a valid Certificate of Forces License.
  • Ability to lift 75lbs.
  • Certification of medical exam is required.

Qualifications

A qualified candidate must possess the following:

1. Demonstrated experience in handling and accounting for money as well as experience showing attention to detail,
2. Good organizational skills

Highly Preferred Criteria:

Possess at least 6 (six) months of experience servicing and repairing a variety of vending machines.

Applicants meeting the Highly Preferred criteria will be referred first to the Selecting Official. All other applicants may be referred for consideration at managements request.
