GS-9: To be eligible at the GS-9 level, you must meet at least
ONE of the following conditions, as defined below:
Specialized experience: Applicant must possess one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 level in Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience performing routine litigation support assignments preparing and managing electronic discovery, evidence, exhibits, and other electronically stored information (ESI) relevant to investigations and casework; utilizing a variety of software applications in order to create physical and digital trial presentations; assisting attorneys with trial preparation, including making recommendations on how to proceed with trial presentations; working with attorneys, agents, and legal support staff to determine the most effective strategy to meet litigation needs; providing advice, customer support, or project management services in relation to electronic discovery, litigation support projects, and litigation technology software applications; and providing technical assistance to litigation teams.
OR
Education: Applicant must possess one the following degrees in a related field (e.g. Law, Criminal Justice, Information Technology): a Master's or equivalent graduate degree;
OR 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree;
OR LL.B. or J.D. Education at the graduate level must be in an accredited college or university and must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the duties of the position.
OR
Combining Education and Experience: Combinations of successfully completed graduate education and experience may be used to meet total qualification requirements. In order to qualify based on a combination,
graduate education must be in excess of 1 full year.
GS-11: To be eligible at the GS-11 level, you must meet at least
ONE of the following conditions, as defined below:
Specialized experience: Applicant must posses one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level in Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience performing complex litigation support assignments such as utilizing specialized software to manage and process complex and voluminous electronic case files to facilitate litigation decisions, trial preparation, and trial presentation; preparing complex electronic discovery productions; analyzing voluminous and complex electronic discovery, evidence, exhibits, and other electronically stored information (ESI) relevant to investigations and casework; advising litigation teams by identifying and implementing appropriate technological solutions to manage complex electronically stored information(ESI); and providing technical assistance to litigation teams.
OR
Education: Applicant must possess one the following degrees in a related field (e.g. Law, Criminal Justice, Information Technology): a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree;
OR 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree;
OR LL.M. Education at the graduate level must be in an accredited college or university and must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the duties of the position.
OR
Combining Education and Experience: Combinations of successfully completed graduate education and experience may be used to meet total qualification requirements. In order to qualify based on a combination,

Interagency Career Transition Assistance Plan (ICTAP)- The ICTAP provides eligible displaced Federal competitive service employees with selection priority over other candidates for competitive service vacancies.
