Duties
- Serves as the Army Library Program's expert librarian and/or team leader for the General Library Information System (GLIS).
- Work requires extensive knowledge and experience in integrated library system modules, computer networks, and information assurance.
- Develops, reviews, and revises circulation, acquisitions, cataloging and automation requirements, plans and policies.
- Catalogs and classifies material for enterprise library system.

- A one year probationary period may be required.

Qualifications

1. A master's degree in library science, information science or information management from an accredited college or university.
2. Additionally, a minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible work experience which showcases the ability to perform technical services and/or library automation functions. Familiar with MS Office software products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint ad Access.
3. Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
