Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
1. A master's degree in library science, information services, or information management from an accredited college or university.
2. Additionally, one (1) year of progressively responsible work experience is desired which showcases the ability to perform patron/public services, technical services, and/or library automation service functions.
3. Must be familiar with office software products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
4. Must have the ability to communicate orally and in writing.
Highly Preferred Qualifications
1. Three (3) years of experience demonstrating library supervision and management practices.
2. Proficiency in library automated systems and computer competencies.
3. Knowledge designing, planning, and implementing programs and outreach services best reflecting community demographics and cultural diversity.
