This position is located at White Sands Missile Range Post Library.

- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all per-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2.
- Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally controlled facilities.
- Physical and health assessment is required.
- Must be able to lift 40 LBS.
Qualifications
1.One year of specialized experience at the next lower grade
OR
2. Two years of education above high school
OR
3. A combination of specialized experience and education that equates to 100% of the qualification requirements.

-At least three (3) months experience (paid or unpaid) of planning, implementing, and executing events and programming for adults, teens, and/or children
-At least three (3) months experience (paid or unpaid) registering patrons, charging/discharging materials, and/or assisting with interlibrary loans
-At least three (3) months experience (paid or unpaid) in basic/copy cataloging
-At least three (3) months experience (paid or unpaid) in a library that provided specific knowledge of library rules, policies, and procedures for circulation, technical service, and/or events
