Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
One year of work experience that equipped the applicant with practical knowledge of library or related information services, tools, and methods and procedures. Experience must have been gained at the next lower level.
Highly Preferred Qualifications:
1. Demonstrate proficiency in creating, planning, and presenting story times and outreach events that best reflect the community demographics and cultural diversity.
2. Proficient in public speaking to large groups.
3. Demonstrate knowledge of computer automated system techniques and computer competencies.
4. Demonstrate knowledge of Intergrated Library System for circulating and processing items.
In order to be considered for the highly preferred criteria, your resume must show that you meet BOTH the minimum qualifications and ALL of the highly preferred criteria. Applicants meeting ALL criteria will be considered the best qualified and will be referred to the selecting official first. Remaining applicants will be referred for consideration if the certificate (referral list) is returned with no selection.
