Licensed Clinical Social Worker
The Veterans Health Administration is seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker to provide exceptional mental health services to Veterans within the VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System. This role involves conducting psychosocial assessments, offering individual and group psychotherapy, and ensuring high-quality case management and advocacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments in collaboration with treatment teams and families.
- Provide tailored individual, family, and group psychotherapy using evidence-based methods.
- Develop treatment plans and set achievable goals in conjunction with Veterans and their families.
- Facilitate discharge planning by coordinating with various team members and Veterans.
- Offer crisis management and intervention services.
- Advocate on behalf of Veterans, fostering independence and empowerment.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in social work from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure or certification to independently practice social work.
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
- Experience providing evidence-based therapies such as ACT, CBT, or PE.
Work Schedule
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
