Job Responsibilities
Measure and record vital signs such as respiration, temperature, blood pressure, and heart rate.
Monitor patient health data and update electronic medical records accordingly.
Provide basic bedside care, including dressing wounds, inserting catheters, and administering injections.
Interview patients to assess their past and current health history.
Administer intravenous fluids and medications as directed.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to advocate for patients.
Qualifications
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Hold a current license to practice as a practical or vocational nurse.
Minimum of one year of nursing experience in a supervised medical setting.
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds.
Obtain and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Requirements
Subject to a background investigation and security clearance.
Mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination, barring exemptions.
Completion of a pre-employment physical examination.
Pass urinalysis testing as part of a drug-free workplace program.
Eligible for a Tier 3 security investigation.
