We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor (LPMHC) to join our dynamic Behavioral Health Interdisciplinary Program (BHIP) team. Based within the Veterans Affairs Eastern Colorado Health Care System, you will play a vital role in providing mental health services to our veterans. Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat mental disorders utilizing evidence-based treatments including individual, family, and group psychotherapy.
  • Conduct thorough psychological assessments and provide psychoeducation to support healthcare adherence.
  • Participate in program development, research activities, and educational seminars.
  • Collaborate with community partners while maintaining HIPPA compliance to support clients' recovery.
  • Contribute to continuous program evaluation and development.

Work Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in a relevant mental health counseling field from a CACREP accredited program.
  • Must have a current, full, and unrestricted license to practice independently as an LPMHC.
  • Strong proficiency in speaking and writing in English.
  • Experience in providing evidence-based treatments is preferred.
