Join our dedicated team in San Diego County, providing essential care to our nation's veterans at multiple locations, including the VA Medical Center La Jolla, Kearny Mesa Clinic, Oceanside CBOC, and Chula Vista Clinic.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care and execute interventions according to treatment plans.
• Collaborate with RNs and other providers for patient care requiring elevated attention.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete patient documentation.
• Engage in patient and peer education and improvement initiatives.
• Ensure a safe, efficient and respectful care environment.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and changing patient conditions.

Schedule and Work Environment

• Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Travel: Required between clinic locations
• Position Type: In-person engagement with patients

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship and proficiency in English.
• Current, unrestricted LVN Licensure.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Preferred: Experience in Surgical Specialty Care (Urology, Podiatry, Orthopedics) and Ambulatory Care.

Physical and Other Requirements

• Moderate lifting and physical activities required.
• Pass a pre-employment physical examination.
• Compliance with VA vaccination programs, including COVID-19 and flu vaccines.
