Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Thorough knowledge of policies, concepts, and theories of logistics management and ability to apply this knowledge to the management of assigned programs related to cargo aerial delivery / airdrop and sling-load mission areas; 2) Applying the concepts and theories of logistics management to evaluate policies and procedures involving major logistics support missions and operations related to cargo aerial delivery / airdrop; 3) Analyzing the impact of current activities on current and projected resources; 4) Interpreting, writing, and developing Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System documents related to cargo aerial delivery / airdrop and sling-load mission areas implementing instructions to regulations, policies, procedures, briefings as they relate to programs assigned; AND 5) Technical knowledge of a broad range of supply program relationships or significant expertise in one of the specialized fields of cargo aerial delivery / airdrop and sling-load operations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (DB-2/GS-11)
