This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Applicants who do not receive a minimum of two points on the screen-out element(s) will be found ineligible. The Screen-out Element for this position is: The ability to do the work of a Maintenance Mechanic without more than normal supervision. Your resume must show that you have the ability to perform common tasks including: 1) Performing maintenance on motors, gears, pumps, belts, and bearings; 2) Replacing various pumps, valves, hydraulic cylinders, and other related components; 3) Troubleshooting and diagnosing problems using blueprints, shop drawings, or sketches; AND 4) Installing and maintaining electrical and pump control circuits.

This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Applicants who do not receive a minimum of two points on the screen-out element(s) will be found ineligible. The Screen-out Element for this position is: The ability to do the work of a Maintenance Mechanic without more than normal supervision. Your resume must show that you have the ability to perform common tasks including: 1) Replacing various types of pumps, valves, hydraulic cylinders, conveyors, gas driven engines, and related components located at a Wastewater Treatment Plant; 2) Adjusting tensions on belts, reset cams, gear ratios, and align equipment (e.g., coils, tank fittings, sediment, and moisture traps); 3) Repairing, replacing, and maintaining electrical equipment/systems ranging up to 480 volts; 4) Assisting in the installation, maintenance, and repair of main power supply and distribution panels (e.g. pneumatic sewage ejectors, pressure switches, and liquid level sensors); and 5) Installing and maintaining electrical and pump control circuits, communication, and wiring systems.
