THE ABILITY TO WORK WITHOUT MORE THAN NORMAL SUPERVISION such as:
- Experience interpreting and applying building plans and blueprints; utilizing shop mathematics to plan, compute, and layout projects
- Experience in the use of tools and equipment common to the trade and be skilled in the safety precautions, principals, and work methods associated with a maintenance mechanic
- Experience utilizing tools and equipment common to the trade.
- Experience utilizing knowledge of the physical exterior and interior configurations of a large variety of submarines and surface ships
- Experience maintaining tools and equipment of the trade
