Summary

You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the III Marine Expeditionary Force ofIII MARINE EXPEDITIONARY FORCE .

Duties

  • You will manage internal staffing targets and provide analysis and recommendation to Major Subordinate Commands.
  • You will perform analysis, reviews, and assist with the preparation of local directives regarding policies.
  • You will communicate vertically and laterally within the organization to properly analyze and set up follow up actions for requests.
  • You will be responsible for the inbound and outbound sponsorship coordination between different commands within III MEF.
  • You will provide guidance on civilian personnel matters to rating officials and senior rating officials involving civilian personnel performance appraisals.

  • This position may require travel to places within and outside the contiguous United States which could include remote or isolated sites. You may be required to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • If eligible for permanent change of station, the appointee will be required to sign a transportation agreement to establish a Government time in service requirement of 12 months.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport.
  • May be required to obtain a VISA dependent on the overseas country's laws/regulations.

Qualifications

GS-07:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing manpower data and analysis, forecasting future manpower gains and losses; AND providing guidance on civilian personnel matters.

GS-05:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing manpower data and analysis and forecasting future manpower gains and losses.

Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

1 full year of graduate level education

superior academic achievement

GS-05:

4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree
