GS-11: You must have one (1) year of specialized experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the
GS-9 level in the Federal Government or other equivalent pay systems. Specialized experience includes:
- Experience collecting, reviewing, interpreting, and analyzing global financial markets data to prepare findings and provides tentative recommendations; AND
- Experience conducting background and secondary research collaborating with colleagues and other team members; AND
- Experience preparing findings from data and research to provide recommendations and solutions; AND
- Creating positive interactions, fostering teamwork, and managing key relationships at all levels (internal and external) to an organization.
OR
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related. Such education must demonstrate the competencies necessary to do the work of this position.

GS-12: You must have one (1) year of specialized experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the
GS-11 level in the Federal Government or other equivalent pay systems. Specialized experience includes:
- Experience collecting, reviewing, interpreting, and analyzing global financial markets data to prepare findings and provides tentative recommendations; AND
- Experience conducting background and secondary research collaborating with colleagues and other team members; AND
- Experience preparing findings from data and research to provide recommendations and solutions; AND
- Experience creating positive interactions, fostering teamwork, and managing key relationships at all levels (internal and external) to an organization; AND
- Experience conducting determination analyses, preparing letters of interest, and loans determinations; AND
- Experience drafting policy guidance.
Education cannot be substituted for experience at the GS-12 grade level.
