GS-13 Level:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing critical and analytical skills to identify complex problems, probe causes, and develop logical solutions and recommendations; 2) Analyzing and reporting progress, outcomes and recommendations in clear, concise manner to high level executives; 3) Planning, managing, organizing, and directing a small team and projects; 4) Applying pertinent laws, regulations, policies, and precedents which affect the use of program and related support resources; and 5) Providing a range of comprehensive joint manpower, organizational, and resources services to a host of joint organizations.
GS-12 Level:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Using management engineering techniques, performing studies and analyses; 2) Advising senior leaders regarding activities, policies, and guidance; 3) Organizing and directing study work with input and support from other analysts and subject matter specialists; 4) Developing techniques suitable for evaluating programs and processes and considering a wide range of issued which may affect the operation; and 5) Preparing and presenting high level briefing and monitoring implementation of accepted proposals.
