Duties

  • You will serve as a Management Assistant in the Civilian Programs Division (N13), Manpower and Personnel Department (N1) at Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station Atlantic (NCTAMSLANT).
  • You will assist with a variety of management analysis techniques to analyze the effectiveness of command operations and practices.
  • You will act as the point of contact for manning reports and data calls.
  • You will coordinate consolidation of data to generate monthly reports such as the Regional Contractor Report and Current on-Board Report.
  • You will prepare non-recruitment Requests for Personnel Actions and track and verify the actions requested using DCPDS database and associated software.
  • You will download and review Notifications of Personnel Actions (SF-50s) on a weekly basis or as required, using appropriate web-based application.
  • You will serve as the Primary Drug Workplace (DFWP) Program Coordinator ensuring 100% annual drug testing is conducted.
  • You will administer the Voluntary Leave Donor Program by processing all donor and recipient applications for donated leave.
  • You will serve as Community Service Volunteer Coordinator ensuring publication of area volunteer opportunities and will be responsible for soliciting data for quarter and Annual Community Service reports.
  • You will assist civilian personnel in obtaining information regarding benefits, retirement, open season, pay, leave usage, and job hunting.
  • You will assist the Division Head with the Performance Management program ensuring performance plans are completed accurately and submitted to the Civilian Personnel Division in a timely manner.

-Experience consolidating and reconciling information in support of time-critical data calls and projects.
-Experience retrieving, tracking, and filing standard forms and personnel records.
-Experience assisting with identifying inconsistencies and errors in data and reporting.
-Experience retrieving data from the share drive or similar system.

-Experience drafting and generating routing letters, directives, memoranda, and forms in final format relating to functional areas within the division.

-Experience gathering and analyzing data, coordinating projects for completion and responding to requests for information and services.

-Experience coordinating new hire check-in and check-out programs with appropriate departments.

-Experience applying personnel administration regulations and procedures to ensure accurate completion of forms and personnel actions.
