ABILITY TO LEAD OR SUPERVISE:
*Interprets blueprints accompanying jo\b orders and prepares layouts, patterns and sketches.
*Reviews upcoming workload as estimates/requisitions, the consumable materials, special tooling and equipment needed to accomplish the work.
*Recommend new equipment/tooling and work processes/procedures that increase efficiency and improve the safety posture of the detachment.
*Ensures the proper safety equipment is available and arranges for the provision of necessary personal protective equipment.
*Plans division of workload among employees based on capabilities of employees, materials, equipment, weather conditions, shift, and priority of projects.
