This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Applicants who do not receive a minimum of two points on the screen-out element(s) will be found ineligible. The Screen-out Element for this position is: I have the ability to perform the duties of a Materials Examiner and Identifier including as demonstrated by experience working under limited supervision, receiving various types of materials, equipment, and components; reviewing shipping documentation to ensure proper turn-in information was provided; inspecting and determining the completeness and condition of items/materials; identifying turned in materials/items locating part numbers and cross-referencing, as needed; Querying databases to verify parts numbers and ensure correct identification; input material identification, condition, and shipping information into a computerized system; Operating Material Handling Equipment including forklifts; Comply with established procedures to pack materials/items for shipment or storage; load and unload material from trucks, loading docks, and conveyors. I work on my own initiative under general supervision subject to occasional inspection.
