This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Applicants who do not receive a minimum of two points on the screen-out element(s) will be found ineligible. The Screen-out Element for this position is: I have the ability to and have experience performing a majority of the full range of tasks including receiving, issuing, handling, preparing for shipment, segregating, storing, stowing, inventorying, and recording the movement and storage of supplies, equipment and specialized materials, in accordance with prescribed regulations; performing inspections of incoming shipments to check for damage and correct quantities; documenting discrepancies and damage; reading shipping documents; using computer applications to document the movement of material; complying with proper handling and storage procedures; operate material handling equipment; reviewing warehouse storage areas and recommending consolidation or relocation of stored items to maximize warehouse space. Work on my own initiative under general supervision subject to occasional inspection.
