I have the ability to perform the full range of tasks including the ability to perform the work of a Materials Handler as demonstrated by experience receiving, issuing, handling, selecting and preparing for shipment, segregating, storing, stowing, inventorying, and documenting the movement and storage of supplies, equipment, and materials, in accordance with prescribed regulations; performing inspections of incoming shipments to check for damage; documenting discrepancies; reading shipping and tracking documents; using computer systems and scanning devices to track material; performing the consolidation, rotation, or relocation of stored items, as directed; complying with prescribed proper handling and storage procedures; assisting in laying out storage space and establish item and material locations providing for maximum space utilization; performing the rotation, or relocation of stored items, as directed; operating motor vehicles, forklifts and material handling equipment. I work on my own initiative under general supervision subject to occasional inspection.
