Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience reviewing and coordinating the review of geometry data provided by the design agent and outside contractors to verify that supplied data arrangement are adequate to ensure full envelope definition, smoothness, and fairness as well as containing all the data necessary to generate propeller and propulsor machining and assembly technical work instructions.
Experience with the development of geometry data provided for complex NFPC products and when required for the machining and assembly of propulsors and propulsor components;
Experience coordinating with government and private contractors to ensure that all technical issues are addressed and that all project objectives and schedules are met;
Experience preparing detailed cost estimates for use in obtaining project funding;
Experience preparing detailed schedule estimates for completion of complex machining and assembly operations;
Experience evaluating design objectives, performs complex technical evaluations, identifies most economical and efficient procedures considering all influences and prepares procedures, drawings, and program files;
Experience performing detailed evaluations of new processes or innovative variations to existing processes for the purpose of improving operations;
Experience providing technical guidance to lower grade engineers and technicians within and across the organization;
Experience training lower grade engineers.
