Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-10 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience with mechanical/metrological engineering processes and practices sufficient to design, develop and reconfigure specifications in order to resolve highly technical and unusual problems with complex specialized measuring fixtures.
Experience working with electrical and electronics engineering to be able to work with electro/mechanical interface issues.
Experience with the following areas of physical; and dimensional metrology: flow (liquid and gas) force, optics, pressure, vibration, fluid mechanics, linear measurements, acceleration, light, mass, acoustics and temperature.
Experience writing business and shipyard correspondences, working procedures, calibration evaluations and technical reports for standards.
