However, you must be able to demonstrate, through experience shown in your written application materials that you possess the sufficient knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the work of this position without more than normal supervision.
Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of a(n) METAL WORKER WELDING INSPECTOR~ without more than normal supervision; Determine the weld quality according to applicable codes and/or specifications and Inspects a variety of parts produced by metal workers. Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating.

PHYSICAL EFFORT
The work involves standing, walking, stooping, climbing and crawling. Work may be performed in anawkward or cramped positions. Incumbent frequently handles, lifts, or carries parts or equipmentthat weighs up to 50 pounds. Occasionally may lift and carry items weighing more.
ORKING CONDITIONS
Works both inside and outside. Is subject to injury from lifting, operating machines and usingmiscellaneous tools. Is exposed to abnormal noise; inclement weather; burns from electric arc, gastorches and molten metal; changing temperatures; and fumes. Danger to the eyes is present frommetal chips, electric arc, rust and dust. Is also subject to danger of explosive gases.
