Summary

This position is located at Departmental Offices, within the Management CFO - Treasury Operations. As a Maintenance & Operations Supervisor, you will serve as the Chief of Physical Plant Maintenance, Repair, and Projects, responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, and directing maintenance, repair, alteration, and operational activities for all utilities and structures across the Treasury Campus.

Duties

As a Maintenance & Operations Supervisor, you will:

  • Serve as the senior technical authority for high-voltage electrical operations and may personally perform or directly oversee high-voltage switching, troubleshooting, and emergency restoration when operational requirements dictate.
  • Oversee multiple organizational segments through subordinate supervisors and is accountable for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of major building systems, including high- and low-voltage electrical distribution systems, steam and hot-water heating systems, electrically cooled mechanical systems, plumbing systems, fire alarm and fire protection systems, and computerized monitoring and control systems.
  • Exercise full supervisory authority over subordinate supervisors, ensure compliance with applicable safety and regulatory standards, and provide technical and operational guidance to senior management regarding infrastructure reliability, resource requirements, and system improvements.

  • Complete a Declaration for Federal Employment to determine your suitability for Federal employment, at the time requested by the agency.
  • Have your salary sent to a financial institution of your choice by Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer.
