Duties
- Performs a variety of trades and craft duties involving maintenance, repair and improvement of facilities.
- Assists in the maintenance and repair of the grounds; cuts grass, plants, trims hedges, trees and shrubbery.
- The incumbent may be required to operate a ½ Ton up to 1 Ton motor vehicle to and from worksite to transport material and personnel.
- Duties require the use of trade practices associated with carpentry, painting, and laboring work.
- Assists in the maintenance and repair of building exteriors.

- Completed and signed DA Form 3433 (dated Aug 2019) is required prior to entrance on duty.
- Appointment subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3.
- If the incumbent is required to operate a vehicle, the position is subject to mandatory drug testing.
- Must be able to obtain and keep current a valid driver’s license and installation and/or DoD requirement for the type of vehicle being operated.
- Must meet the physical requirements for the position, and is therefore subject to a pre-employment physical.
Qualifications
Experience in performing duties as described and the ability to follow oral and written instructions involving those duties. If the position requires the incumbent to operate a vehicle. The incumbent must have a valid driver's license.
