Duties
- Assists in the disassembly, repair, modification, preventative maintenance, installation, removal and assembly of machinery and equipment.
- Assistant Management in the repair and testing of the less complex electrical accessories,componentS,SubsyStemSandcontrol
equipment directly related to industrial machinery and systems.
- Asssist Management with painting, mowing, and basic carpenter work.
- Assures safety requirements, housekeeping and environmental compliance rules are followed and personal protective equipment is properly used.
- Tracks hazard material (oil, paint, solvents, lubricants) and submits hazard reports on oil and other hazard spills and ensures these spillages are cleaned up properly and timely.

- Must be willing and able to frequently lift and carry items weighing up to 35 pounds.
- Must be able to make repairs where parts worked on are in hard to reach places. Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, and work in tiring and uncomfortable positions.
- A pre-employment occupational physical is required for this position.
- Appointment subject to favorable suitability determination.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2.
- Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.
- Requires periodic drug testing.
- The employee must have and maintain a cunent driver's license while in this job.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma.
- Ability to communicate in English at a level to assure the duties described can be accomplished in a safe and satisfactory manner.
- Experience in accomplishing the types of duties described in this job.
- Requires a valid state driver's license
